Right of Withdrawal – Personal Training Subscriptions
If you purchase a personal training subscription from David Lloyd, you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection legislation (EU Directive 2023/2673).
The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the date on which your subscription or service agreement was purchased.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform David Lloyd* of your decision to withdraw from the contract by a clear statement (for example, by email or via your online member account),
or you can use our online form (accessible from your booking confirmation email, or from the Mobile App).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract within the withdrawal period, David Lloyd will be in contact to confirm the withdrawal
David Lloyd will refund unused sessions/vouchers to you.
Refunds will be made without delay and no later than fourteen days from the date on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract using the same method of payment used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund.
Services Already Commenced
If you requested that your personal training services begin during the 14-day withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for any services already provided up to the date you notify us of your withdrawal.
Where a personal training session, programme, or subscription has been fully delivered or used during the withdrawal period, your right of withdrawal may no longer apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Exclusions or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal shall lapse prematurely if we have only commenced performance of the contract after you have given your express consent and, at the same time, confirmed that you are aware that you will lose your right of withdrawal once we begin to perform the contract. Please note that we may make the conclusion of the contract conditional upon the aforementioned consent and confirmation.
